since flanking is not a reliable option to make use of your extremely limited 12 sabots since you have 7.7 mbt mobility against 10.0s mbts, moving the oto down to 9.7 would actually help it in making it a competitive vehicle again, since your sabot would actually pen something and you wouldnt get rendered useless by spaa missile carriers in terms of spaa duties.Īnd I would say the sidam has the same problem(although the real problem is having an insane repair cost) as the oto, since the M113 is a very bad platform in this game, if a true radar spaa is on your team, then he can know where the enemy aircraft is way before you can so he can get the kill before you can get good visual on the enemy to use your superior optic radar, and sidam is basically more useless than a reserve meme tank against armor since you either have full HE belt, or 60 rounds of APDS that last for half a second of fire and cost one of your organs in RP to unlock, unlike the other radar spaa that have mixed AP/HE belt and have only two cannons instead of 4, so that APDS belt of a Gepard last artificially longer. The Otomatic has better pen on apfsds shells, stock HE-VT, has more explosive mass in HE-VT, better turret rotation speed, better gun elevation, more survivable, and it has a better radar.
The LvKV 9040C can fire more apfsds rounds, stock apfsds, 2.5x better fire rate than the otomatic, second gen thermals, better mobility, smaller profile, better gun depression, and can reload its first-ammo stage faster. The otomatic is much more comparable to a spaa such as the LvKv 9040C, where they are comparable and each one has nearly equal amounts of advanatges and disadvantages. When flying a jet or heli, out of all current 10.0 and 10.3 spaas, I fear the otomatic the least, heck i sometimes fear the lvkv 9040C compared to the otomatic due to the faster fire rate. When you compared the Otomatic to the ADATS, British ADATS, and Tunguska, the Otomatic barely holds a candel compared to them where they can easily kill and disable enemy tanks with easily using either the missles or the main guns they have, while being able to easily knock out air targets compared to the otomatic. When comparing the Otomatic to the ADATS, Tunguska, Flakrakrad, British ADATS, and Asrad R, all of them have much faster missles speeds compared to the muzzle velocity of the HE-VT, without taking into account time for shell drop, all have better range and much easier to aim and control weaponry compared to the Otomatic, all have much more empty space allowing for shells to pass throught without really harming the tank compared to the Otomatic, and all aren't limited by first-stage ammo racks. Currently, the only advantage it has over other 10.3br and 10.0br spaas is that it can fire 12 76mm apfsds rounds in quick succession where the shell used to be good until they did the sharpnel changes on lower caliber apfsds rounds which made it so that killing mbts requires like 2-5 apfsds shells per mbt. Hello, recently being play top tier spaas and so far I find that the otomatic compared to other 10.3br and 10.0br spaas, is that the otomatic feels lackluster to be at 10.3br.
